City Council — Annual Cultural Gala
Project Overview
Background
The City Council hosts an annual cultural gala celebrating diversity and community achievement. They required comprehensive media coverage to maximise reach and engagement.
Objective
Deliver end-to-end event documentation including photography, videography, and live streaming to amplify the gala's impact beyond the venue.
Challenge
Managing a 12-person crew across multiple simultaneous venues, coordinating live streaming with unreliable venue Wi-Fi, and delivering edited highlights within 48 hours.
Solution
We deployed redundant streaming equipment, pre-planned shot lists for each venue, and established an on-site editing workflow to ensure rapid turnaround without sacrificing quality.
Outcome
Live-streamed to over 15,000 online viewers, the highlight video generated 200,000 views, and the Council renewed the contract for the following three years.
